My rant - Wounded by indoctrination and the adults wanting you to conform and hold all your emotions in, wanting you to bottle everything up inside. We had to tow the line because we were in fear, we also wanted to be accepted and that is, in part how we were accepted - by the constant suppression of all those parts of ourselves. This is how the human species, in part, became flawed, the effects were huge. We became closed off and disconnected from each other. To be closed or open, that is the question. When we are open this is where the magic starts happening, our intuition kicks in. Yes we are more emotional. In our inner journey there are emotions along the way, and to share that is the most beautiful thing, and why would we not share that. After all that is a part of who we are. There are insights and awareness gained along the way, and we do this for the whole planet. Feelings, intuition is good for everyone on the planet, because with that comes respect and caring. This also allows tuning into every other being on the planet, the life forces can thrive. This is only my words about the deep human condition, and I am after all a work in progress, still studying at the university of life. All hypothesis. You will know your truth.

Why the Inner Journey, which is happening 24/7? Why do we not share our full selves often? Maybe out of fear, fear which blocks Love which is a very basic need. To share our hearts, open with our vulnerability is also empowering, speaks of surrender. Ultimately greater unity on the Planet, deeper connection more unity. More conscious awareness of the way forward, what is driving us forward, which is really self inquiry, for the planet and for everyone. To stay separate in our own bubble is not really nurturing of our full self. It is also exploration into our own possibility, which is also about being open. To be open to all these parts of ourselves, is in a way an acknowledgement and celebration of life itself. Personally I explore my life in many different ways - clowning; cross-dressing; improvising; writing poetry; singing; acting; it all adds to the richness of life. To feel open is also to be receptive to love and nurturing. I have been blessed to have heard over Over 200. odd inner journeys, I have felt many things along the way while doing this. How good is that? Community engagement on a slightly deeper level. I can let you know how I focus the inner journey if you want to share your inner journey with me and my dear listeners, for each and every one of us and the planet.

For those that listen to the Goori Jama show on Tuesdays from 12-4, you would have heard that I recently went to Garma Festival held by the Yothu Yindi foundation. I had some great conversations many different people and organizations up there and heard about some of the great work being done. Here are a few photos I took, and I'll be playing a couple of interviews for those that missed them. One was the conversation with Sea Sheppard where we heard of the great work happening around cleaning up the plastic waste in the top end. ... See MoreSee Less
